iCPPS Password Selling
One of the owners of iCPPS, Connor was using a version of the iCPPS source which did not encrypt passwords. To make matters worse, Connor was actually trying to sell user’s passwords. He was then just private chatting people and telling them their password, just for fun.
Obviously this is extremely unethical and for a private server user to do this amazes me.
So, if you have registered for iCPPS, even with a very secure password, they can see your password. If you have used a password when registering for iCPPS that you have used before online, change all passwords to which you have used that same password on! They could easily sell this information to someone with bad intents.
And also, because of these unethical practices, I will not longer be posting about iCPPS, so that our users do not register for a private server which sells their password! I suggest you play another CPPS.

UPDATE: Connor posted this on iCPPS.com just to not let anyone know it was him "iCPPS got messed up, all users have to make a new account. Sorry for the inconvenience."

ClubPenguinV is back
Disney or Crocidiles?
Well, let me get to the point here. Apparently there’s this group called the “Crocodiles”. It was created about 2 years ago, there were quite a bit of members (as I have been told). The group eventually died, only few members still being in touch. Around the creation of iCPv3 they reformed. There were only 3 members. One got sent to jail for 6 months for using dukadialer to harass people. Anyway, it has been said that these “Crocodiles” have been sending fake C&D’s to private servers. They said they were the ones who got iCPv3 down, along with a lot of other private servers. They also claim to have dox on just about all of the staff members of just about every CPPS that ever existed. tl;dr: Apparently a group of people have been sending fake legal documents to private servers to get them shut down.
This means that, possibly, iCPv3 and a lot of other CPPS’s were all closed under false pretenses.
EDIT: The Crocodiles were lying. It has been confirmed. Also, note how I used “possibly” and “claim” in that,
Club Penguin Tracking?
This is iShadow,
Anyway, there seems to be a problem here, involving CPPSes. Apparently, Club Penguin has now placed “trace-backs” within their SWFs which logs everybody’s IP address, and I mean everybody’s. Whoever logs into a CPPS with SWFs containing those trace-backs will have their IP address sent to team.clubpenguin.com.
I’m assuming that the purpose of these trace-backs/IP loggers is to ban penguins who play/join Club Penguin private servers.
But, that’s only what I assume, I may be wrong. Disney might have other reasons to insert those trace-backs.
So if you don’t want to risk your Club Penguin account being banned (If you care), I recommend you stop playing CPPSes. Either that or start being more careful with choosing which private server to use. For example, ask a staff member of that CPPS you wanted to join and make sure whether or not they have those new CP SWFs inside their sauce. If they too are not sure, I advise you to switch private servers.

iCPPS returns!
Author Application
Penguin Elite "also" comes to an end
Dear users,
It has come to my attention something about Penguin Elite, something, dreadful… See, ever since this project started, we have encountered many obstacles, but I fear this one may be the worst.
It’s the obstacle of survival. With all of the other private servers out there, it takes more time out of the staff’s lives each day to just keep this interesting. Basically, Penguin Elite stops here.
I have spent WAY too much time on this project, and I have missed out on the real things in life for a stupid private server for 10 year olds. If you would like to create your own private server, by all neans, go ahead. I’m not stopping you, but remember this. Wouldn’t you rather be enjoying the REAL things in life, rather than sitting on a computer managing an illegal game?
And if you DO want to create a website, why don’t you point your potential towards something based on your own content? If you’re smart enough to create a private server (Unless you’re leeching off of opencp), then you should go on to greater things. You’re wasting your potential on Disney’s game, this is EXACTLY what they want us to do. Disney is trying to get us all to waste our lives making the private servers better, and then they’re just going to mass-update and then your work is gone.
If you would like the sourcecode to Penguin Elite, you can get it here
You may be wondering why I’m releasing the sourcecode if I’m tired of faggy private servers that steal people’s content and claim it is theirs like CP-Pro, iCPSA, etc. It’s because I don’t care anymore, all of these little private servers don’t even have the original source creator (Flappi282)’s permission, and they take about 1000 users from the REAL private servers that actually have permission to run the source. I don’t want to be a part of this anymore, I have a feeling that Disney is going to mass C&D all of this. I don’t think they’re logging your IP when you log on to a private server to ban your account, I think they’re gathering IPs so they can report them. Anyway, I refuse to be around when this happens.
I would like to thank you for the fun time you guys have given the Penguin Elite staff, and we hope to see you again! I will be turning this website into a community with forums etc, so you can still talk with the staff after this is over. Sincerely, Cooldude170 and the Penguin Elite staff.
Farewell Penguin Elite,
-Micro
